CBD Oil is a natural dietary supplement consisting of Cannabis Sativa L extract containing naturally occurring phytoannabinoids (including CBD) and vegetable oil (the most commonly used one is hemp seed oil). Unlike the ordinary cooking hemp oil, the CBD hemp oil is a dietary supplement containing, along with unsaturated OMEGA-3 and OMEGA-6 fatty acids, a natural extract with the full-spectrum of naturally occurring phytocannabinoids (including CBD), terpenoids and flavonoids, which gives it its unique properties.
The best way to obtain the extract for the production of CBD hemp oil is extraction with supercritical carbon dioxide, so-called CO2 extraction. This unique method can produce a pure and clean extract containing not only cannabidiol, but also the full spectrum substances naturally occurring in hemp – and this is possible without the need for solvents or chemicals that could remain in the final product. An additional advantage of this method is its selectivity – it allows for the cannabinoids and other fat soluble substances to be extracted from the plant, but not any potential contaminants such as fungi and molds, or even heavy metals that could have been accumulated in the plant from soil or air.
